they need to add heavy artilery at the bases so you dont have to rely on the 37mm aa guns to destroy tanks

we do have a mobile 75mm howitzer...the LVT4.

I doubt real-life airfields were defended by howitzers, or any other artillery, either.

Real life fields werent continuously attacked by tanks either. :D

i know that most bases didnt have artilery but they also didnt have tanks over runing bases ether but maby they could add manned 88s at the field as heavy aa and anti tank:p

Manned AT gun in direct fire mode, indirect artillery against targets, AND manned puffy ack against bombers up to 35K altitude.
