Gravis Destroyer Extreme joystick

I recently purchased a Gravis Destroyer Extreme joystick. I went through my windows setup and found that it worked just fine. So i went to play the game and when i started i found that the joystick wouldnt work. So i went to the setup menu and went to select joystick i was expecting to see the name "Destroyer Extreme" but the only options were "mouse" and "HID-compliant controller" so i naturally selected the "HID" and it still didnt work im wondering how i can get MY joystick to work or if indeed this is the problem how i can get it on that select joystick list?                                                                                                                                       thanx.

Try going to: start > settings > control panel > game controllers.  Find your joystick, click properties, calibrate etc.  Now try AH.

You wouldn't happen to be running Windows 2000 would you?


If so, the new patch tommorow might fix your problem.
