you guys should add the Higgens boats, it would mean a faster landing for troops instead of the LTV(A)2. also it would be perfect for my D day map that im creating. also it be nice for the DD shermans which where used for D day only. what are cool about them is that they float!!!:D

Just a little correction here, the term "D-Day" is usually incorrectly referred to the   allied invasion on Hitler's Atlantic Wall, More correctly referred as "Operation Overlord"............D-Day is the day that a certain invasion will take place like Operation Overlord's D-Day is June 6, 1944

Besides that, the Higgins boat idea is cool idea to me. Hitechcreations MIGHT(Im not saying they have to) have to rework the distance troops respond to a nearby maproom because if a  maproom to too far, the troops are unresponsive.

The LCVP (higgins boat) would be a good addition, should have them carry more than ten for the run all the way to the town.

Change those paratroops to Marines and only the Marines have a longer distance respond.

i realy do think the higgens boats would be the best way to invade a base close to water.(I sure be a hell of a lot easier than trying to get a c47 off a carrier)

There is a whole BUNCH of military landing craft developed during WWII...
Here is a good list of every single landing craft I can name

LCA: Landing Craft, Assault
LCC: Landing Craft, Control
LCF: Landing Craft, Flak
LC(FF): Landing Craft, Flotilla Flagship
LCI: Landing Craft, Infantry
LCI(L): Landing Craft, Infantry Large
LCM: Landing Craft, Mechanized
LCP: Landing Craft, Personnel
LCR: Landing Craft, Rubber
LCS: Landing Craft, Support
LCS(S): Landing Craft, Support Small
LCT: Landing Craft, Tank
LCT(R): Landing Craft, Tank Rocket
LCV: Landing Craft, Vehicles
[The oh so popular and well known] LCVP: Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel

I've done some researching and found out that In the Rhine Valley, when the Lundendorff Bridge at Remagen was destroyed by German Artillery just after american armored units crossed it, archival footage showed heavy duty trucks hauling in LCP's and LCVP's and then embarking across the Rhine, so the sea may not be the only place these Landing Craft were used.

EDIT1: Postscript, I hate to break it to you all but um, isnt this thread about introducing Landing Crafts to AH and not about P51's Ruling
