Since I have Windows Vista - NOTHING works of course!! LOL
****ing Microsoft!
Without the software, I can't map that wheel (didn't know it was a button
also - thanks). The Slider is an Axis so you have some options. I use it as
the Wheel Brakes.
Here's what I did:
First mappped the Pinky Button = Mode Button (1,2,3,4)
Mode 1: Normal (Flight/Combat/Navigation)
Mode 2: Misc. (Fuel/Views/etc)
Mode 3: Engine Mgmt & Bombing
Mode 4: Vehicles
--------------------------------------------------------------------
==========
Mode 1 - FS ==============
Trigger - 1st click=Primary / 2nd click=ALL
under "SAFE" - Secondary
C - Select
A - Autopilot
B - Map / Clipboard
Top Hat - Text Radio = Squad/Range/Country/Mission
Btm Hat - VOX Radio = Channel or Squad/Range &
Expand Text Window
T1/T2 - Hook/Gear
T3/T4 - Film/Check6
T5/T6 - Flaps up/Flaps down
==========
Mode 1 - TH ==============
E - Damage Display (emergency)
D - WEP
Slider - Wheel Brakes
Big Rotery - Rudder Trim
Sm Rotery - Elevator Trim
Hat - Up/Down = Flaps & Left/Right = RPMs
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not going to go into 2, 3 and 4 - experiment. I try and map things so
they're easy to remmber. For Example:
E - is for Emergency / Eject / Engine Start & Stop (Mode 1,2,3-4)
note: I also use an Infrared Traking System for Views, so that frees up my
8 Hat buttons for the Radio.
Good luck friend!
