Bring full night time or get rid of the sunset

word!

it just looks terrible, the sun at sunset destroys any of the graphical pleasures of day light flying and new plane models.

am i the only one?

I think sunrise/sunset add a good bit of realism.

Repeat?? Can't make out what you're saying through the sunset fog.

The lighting is too flat in AH to work anywhere around twilight..
The midnight moon is easier to see in than dusk and dawn.

one of the most simple fixed i can see is that the sun uses the altitude of your plane to determine the horizon.

look at the sun rising from the tower and its spot on.

look at it from 8k and the problems are obvious.

I liked full night and all the stars coming out but I was one of the few players who turned up my brightness to compensate so I could still see a little.

Maybe bring it back for a shorter length of time but with a little moonlight/starlight for those not "bright" enough to crank up their monitor brightness.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I'd suggest a full rotation. Realistic time going from 12:00 Noon to 12:00 midnight and back. Makes it fun for all and you know what you get when you enter.

want full night??

lets get some night fighters then.

radar for each indivdual designated night fighter

have radar coverage of about 3-4 miles  per night fighter.

they did have night fighters in ww2 didn,t they????

of course they did,

i dont really care about full night although i like the night graphics....

....what we should be addressing surely, is why the sun rising looks like a giant sunflower cut in half when viewed from above ground level.

Then you'd see massive CARPET BOMBING BOMBERS. Bring forth the night.
Instead of hitting 4-5 bases, now well just hit one, everything would go. HEHE I like it:aok :p
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

I loved night time in the MA that would be the only time you can up a Ju88 and make it back to base with atleast one bomber. GV at night was the best. I would say three hours day one hour night.

NIGHT WOULD ROCK!!

Keep the time compression the same as it is now so if you can only play at
the same time every day/week its always different but ADD Night to the
rotation. I would like to see 30-60 mins of Night.

Fields, Towns, Ports, Fleets, Factories, etc. are all lit up along with Nav
lights on the aircraft! The more you can add to a Sim the better. If you
don't like the Night come back in an hour or change Arenas for a bit.

Short range enemy icons and slower dot radar updates (for planes without radar) between 9pm and 3am.
