Leaving the G.55 out of the equation you really have 2 planes that are important both scenario wise and historically. since the P-39 was actually more important in russian service it's not really a "U.S." selection.

I think the A-26 might just win....which really would be a shame from a scenerio viewpoint. Hopefully we'll see 3 or 4 others from the list modeled relatively soon.........

Of course.

Thats what i hope aswell,ither way im sure this list* at least lets htc know what direction they need to look when considering the next plane to be added.
heck,half of them could be modeled by now.
One could only hope, i can pump out a 5-8k polygon model in about 3 hours.
Uv maped in another day,then off to the skinners.

and i dont even get paid for it.
I have no doubt about htc's modeling and skining ability.
most new planes probably take more time in the Fm process than the model itself.
now..model bugs,thats another story,but with every model bug "fix" comes another chance for htc to "get that part right the first time" as to not see it again.
*sighs*

I dont realy care what plane wins.
We will get a new tank "probably as the next plane is being finished" just to keep us content and quite for a little while.
I cant wait to play on that pacific map,should be a nice change of eye candy.
