From my experience, I just want to tell everyone to stay away from this card.  I recently "upgraded" from a 128mb 5200 fx to the 256 6200 (both PCI), and the card is just terrible.  Game freezes constantly, and I will be putting the 128 card back.  Save your money and stay away from this card.

You've likely got the wrong drivers. You need Skuzzy.

Any or all of the above. Or, post in the "Hardware and Software" forum.

I have the same drive. I think its FX but it might be GT, but if I don't put a fan on my card it locks up with this blue screen, and this BUUUURRRRRRR and restarts my computer. Its a great card just POS at times. Does yours do that?

My ATI 9700 Pro died several months ago.  I replaced it a few weeks ago with a 7800 GS AGP, a well reviewed card.  It arrived DOA.  After pondering trying something else high end, I noticed the local computer place had an MSI 6200 for sale for $69.  Its working almost as well as the ATI did, I get some severe stutters by trees (thus why I cringed when i saw the news of MORE new trees soon).

I think the best money for me is to upgrade to a new system.  Im still waiting for the Core Duos to drop a bit more.

I have read that they are due for a rather big drop at the end of this month actually. They should then be available at the new prices in may sometime.

If your looking for computer parts or want to build a new computer, you should contact Dadano in this forum.  Tell him what you want and give him your zip code and he'll give you a total price.
