hmmm, my fps count is gunna hit as low as 10-15 now, i never could play with animated water even with the older terrains.

anyone else find this a problem?

i think they meant that they were removing animated water, not forcing you to use it. haven't seen yet though

Animated water is gone, new Green based Sea is in place of the old basic water.

Same FRs as before but much better looking.

sorry vulcan too busy playing, at the moment im auto climbing a D40 to vulch bish from great alt.

i questioned this in another thread while i waited for download.... was really worried we'd be forced to look at the "glitter" that was animated water.

luckly we got a nice upgrade to the sea.....and better fps!

Dam they must have snuck this in just after I logged last night.

Cant wait until 2 o clock when I can go check this out. From the Readme it sounds as if we are in for a treat!

See how much it uses of the 640mb Vid memory

I also had the animated water off anyway never liked the glass like reflection least with it off you knew EXACTLY how close you were to going for a swim.

I'm sure the lack of trees is down to them brazilians deforestation !

hehe, the lanscape is very barren but the populated areas and some of the H2H maps are spectacular with fields and hedgerows to skim over.
