If you were to win tonights powerball and buy an airplane(s), what would they be?

For me, i'd definately go with an Edge 540 for fun, and maybe a King Air 200 for travel.

What would your choices be?

A highly modified C-130 or surplus C-141. Front half of the cargo hold would be outfitted as a nice office/living space and the rear half would be standard cargo hold for my truck to ride in.

I hate rental cars and would rathe take my own with me if I went somewhere.

I'd probably go find a couple of P-38's that I could get rebuilt, so that rather than buy a plane that was already flying, I could get a couple that didn't fly back in the air.

I'd also probably pick up an AT-6, and go out and pay Steve Hinton to teach me to fly. I figure if you can afford it, there's no substitute for learning from the best.

If I had any left I wanted to spend on aircraft, I'd pick up a Baron, one of the juiced up versions (up engined, with turbochargers and the upgraded props) to fly on a regular basis (since I wouldn't want to use the P-38 as a utility plane, and it doesn't have much in the way of passenger space).

Hornet has a good idea, but I'd have to pick.....I'm not sure.  A WW2 aircraft then I'd force Bodhi to fix it.
