IMHO is WAY too LOW!!!

Everything is WAY too DARK!

Had to run Gamma at 1.4 in older AH so I could SEE.

Now runnin it at 1.5 and still can't see very well.

Guess my eyes gettin too old for AH?????????????

WHY is everything SOOOO DARK????

The shades used are VERY DARK!!! WHY???

Is there some kinda thing that makes it necassary to make it hard for older people to SEE anything?????

I do admit that what I can actually see looks pretty good BUT.................

Set mine to 1.8

contrast between terrain and clip board is hard on the eyes!!!!!!!!

When I set gamma so I can see any kind of detail on the ground...the sky is white.

Have to agree.  Hard finding a happy compromise on gamma between the ground and objects.

I'm not having quite the problem some are having with the grass textures and depth perception though.

Otherwise, much improvement in the eye candy overall.

I wasn't able to find any combination of monitor, card and game settings that I was comfortable with. I also had a splitting headache and eye strain from the contrast. Using an ATI X800GT and high-end LCD.

It also seemed like there was less virtual depth perception of the terrain for low-level fights. Like fighting over DOS-era textures.

I do like all the additions, though!
