very nice pictures there.

im still not sure if i really like some of the terain the fields are nice but when you get out a ways it looks like they got kinda lazy sometimes. i really like the beaches but it looks like they copied and pasted each beach. i like the terain but it needs more crops farms and forest. i think like a huge tree forest that breaks up some times would be cool too. but it just looks lazy in some spots. any 1 else think that. or am i crazy.

Here are some screen shots from one particular terrain.

It looks BEAUTIFUL! -- but . . .

the lighting needs to be increased, in my opinion. (The light for me is too dark, with gamma adjust at 1.0, color temperature at 6500, monitor total gamma as judged by utilities at about 2.2.)

I noticed that the different arenas have varying degrees of gamma and detail differences. For example, here are two screen shots I took, one in the Orange arena, the other in the Blue arena. I have not adjusted anything between the two. Notice the Orange arena is a bit darker looking and less detailed then the Blue arena. Perhaps these terrain problems we are seeing are more a function of the design of the map than the update itself.

Both shots are taken from 3,000 ft at 1600x1200 32bit and 1024 textures.

HomeBoy, your screenshots are a little lighter than mine, but they are much more washed out looking. What did you use to get the images you posted? I'm wondering why your images would look more washed out than mine.

What I posted has nothing to do with anything, but the fact that he used a picture I posted in a topic I started about some glitches in the new update.

Then calls it a whining thread. When in fact I went out of my way in that topic, to tell people to stop *****ing about the update and to offer up legit glitches for the HT staff so we can get them fixed.

So his is a personal attack on a legit issue I posted with the game. So I just pointed out he's nothing more than a whiner himself being he always whines about other people whom he thinks is whining.

As for a Guppy's bait thread I have no clue what you are taking about.

Funny how the complaints are always nothing more than whines according to some of you but we've seen what like what 4 patches since this new update. Guess they must have found some glitches.. I wonder how they found those?

Making glitches apparent is one thing. Complaining how dark the game is, or how bad the graphics are, or anything that doesn't suit you or something you don't like, and complaining about that, is what is making people mad, and which is where the "whine" flames start.

If it's a legit issue about a tank in a hill, or the machine gun fire sound while in GVz, something that is actually wrong with the game, and not with a particular person or group's standards, is perfectly fine.

Thing is, I feel the same way Furby does, only thing is, he's done wasting his time trying to explain what a "whine" is compared to a legit complaint. Me on the other hand.. I find it quite fun.
