Now that we have...
« on: April 13, 2007, 04:51:04 AM »
...a non-perked tank invulnerable to the Il-2 23mm guns, I wish for the addition of

- Il-2M3 with two NS-37 37mm cannons or
- Ju 87G-2 with two Flak 18 37mm cannons or
- Hs 129 B-3 with one 75mm AT gun (perked, of course)

Thank you. :)

You might as well wish for an A-10.

Nice plane, but I have the vague feeling it may have been developed too late to see combat service in WWII... ;)

Voted for the 'Vader..... about as close to an A-10 in WWII as you could get.  But, it lost.

I also noticed a Sherman taking a lot of damage from my (and another's)  IL-2 cannons (ord was out).  Upped a Hurri-D, which seemed to work much better against the Sherman.

To Lusche's list, I'd add the 88mm FlaK36.  Stable LOS gun platform with superior sights for long range accuracy.  No armor to speak of, but it has the reach.
