  I have Aces High installed and everything but when I go double click on the short cut, my screen flickers twice and it doesn't start up the game it just goes back to my desktop..  How do I fix this ??  Someone please help

you may have the video set incorrectly,ie 32 bit when your card only handles 16 bit. You may want to try and delete the video.cfg file in the AH directory and try again

Delete the video.cfg file in the aces high settings directory.

(Also make sure you have at least DX 6.1, 7a is best.)

  And where do I find out where my DX is ??  I dealeted the video.cfg file and it still doing the same thing maybe I have to change my DX..

Or, go to "Start->Run" and type "dxdiag" in the Run box.

I noticed in your message that you double click the icon. How did you create the shortcut? To my knowledge, the installer doesn't create a desktop icon, (but it has been a while since I installed AH clean). If you created it, check the target and insure it has the correct path.
