I've never seen what most see in either the C.202 or C.205. In my opinion, both are mediocre planes at best with no real strengths and a lot of weaknesses that can be easily exploited.

Well, of course, the 205 is a pig.
The 202, on the other hand, is just a delightful plane to fly, almost as nice as the spits, a bit faster than the Spit 5, I think, and you don't have to wear a skirt to fly one. Very light on the controls, responsive, good climb and turn, and holds well in a dive. Because the guns were supplied by the Daisy company, it's a true challenge to get kills with it, and this is part of its attraction.
