The clouds.

It must be a real b***h to get the balance between performance, realism, and playability just right, and AH seems to have done so.

And after months of playing AH, I still every so often just have to turn away from the fight for a bit, and just fly and admire them.

Whoever did the cloud system in AH has nothing but respect from me.

Same same. One of the nicest things about this sim undoubtedly. The other sims new clouds look utterly rediculous. These hit the ballance just right.

EDIT- I also have to give a shout out for the sounds as well. Running Mitsu's sound pack, Its much the same 3d-wise as iL2. Very nice!

If you want to see the wrong way to model clouds in a flight sim , call the Rats. They're good at screwing it up.

When we came over from WW2OL the clouds was one of the first things in game that made me say "Wow". Trukk even made a remark last night about how it looked like we were heading into a storm front.

I dont know about clouds in new version (if they was changed), but old clouds looks great, until you dont fly inside it.

When that happens it is caused by 1 of 2 things:

1) Bad drivers for your video card

2) Too much heat on the video card

yea it's called intel graphics and someone should get slapped for oking the performance of these POS's they put into systems. It is shame. Totally brings modern day computing back a few years.

the clouds look good but the rest of the map looks like a cartoon. looks like some of the old tank games I played. Will say that when you zoom in on a target in a GV it looks a lot better.
