I would like to point out this this was an LCA "Loose Cannons Alliance"
production!  Thank you crashland for thinking it up and DDoug and
everyone else for helping pull it off!  Sweet!

Yes, the LCA is alive and well!

That is because you, my friend, are what is know as an Idiot. Ive done it myself, if you are a good pilot (And I would wager my life's earnings YOU sir, are NOT) you can get anywhere you want in a 163. It just takes good planning, and excellent aircraft control.

That looks really dark.  Now I understand all the graphics complaning going on... things look definitely lighter with my monitor.

Anyway, dont want to hijack this thread so.... good job on that mission guys!  I would have been one pissed off dude if I had happened to be in TT at that time :)

Yup, I've done it many a time... climb to 30k, shut off engine, glide down to about 10k, turn rocket back on and climb to 20k, turn off and plan a landing no further than 1 secotor away. Land long turn rocket on, taxi to rearm pad and refuel. You can transvers about 4 sectors on the safe side per tank full. So a couple of refuels will get you just about anywhere you wanna go... nothing like jumping into a low n slow conga line over the water, applying full throttle and climbing almost verticle out of a sticky situation. :aok

Actually all you have to do is takeoff, leave gears on, set autoclimb, set your autoclimb speed to 200. So instead of getting FAST and ripping gears off it climbs instead. Run up to 15k, kill engine, leave in autoclimb, now its a 200mph glider.

Stage forward, taxing is tricky but doable.

I did it myself once about a year ago just to prove it was possible.
Because the last guy that saw this happen came into the TA swearing someone had cheated. No cheat, just smarts & skill.

I didn't succsessfuly rearm more than 2-3 times since Ah2 came out, the rearming pad is soo narrow, those concrete blocks close, i always lose my wings, or i can't back up the plane, i did try to rearm C47 or bombers sometimes, but it can't fit in that space,
Did somebody ever rearm bombers?
In AH1, the rearming pad, was way more accesible, along the runway eassy to taxi, without crashing,
