71 Eagle Sqn Hurricane Mk.I

I believe they flew Mk.IIs but the guns are closer to the Mk.I so I'm skinning it this way. There's no way you can pretend you've got .303s when you're flying with hizookas.

VERY rough right now. Wanted to get something (anything) done for my own sake. Camo doesn't line up yet, and codes are left-overs from my black hurricane, at the moment.

Yes, I know, still needs much work. I worked on this one backwards, doing the noseart first! :) (p.s. still missing the kill board, not done yet)

Port noseart. I'm surprised it turned out so well.

I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack

Thanks, fellas

To-Do list:

- add "kill board"
- match camo lines up
- new tail codes (including serial no.)
- resize fin flash
- tone down gun patches (add patches for outboard guns?)
- add roundels to underside of wings (currently lacking)
- change color on undersides, I don't like it
- fix narrow strip on outer leading edges
- re-work weathering, scratches, etc...
- figure out why the fershlugginer FSAA doesn't show up on screenshots

krusty that is a great looking skin

They fleew hurricance 11b with the 303's and the different carberator apart from that its almost the same as a mk1.

Just one thing id like to say on the top of the wing is a strip that runs front to back and underneath this is a raised strip and shows up in photos as such.On your skin it is all the same level its not showing the 3rd dimension.

I am only saying this because on my mk1 skins i did the same thing and it took me ages to get it to look right.

Krusty

The exhausts look too dark earth colored. Shouldn't they be more of a rusty/blackish/brown?

Rogerdee: Oooh, thanks for the tip! I'll look into it when I get home tonight

Target2: right now the exhausts are the "default" exhausts. I need to do a test to see if I can re-map them to look better, or if it's not worth the effort. I definitely will add that to the list!

Is it just me, or is the end of the aft exhaust tip green? looks like it is like that on both sides.

It is. The exhaust pulls that bit (the "green" bit) from the inboard leading edge of one of the wings.

It's also mapped at a diagonal angle, to boot.

It's a generation 1 skin. I tried to fix that on the black hurri (you can see black there instead of green) and was not able to. It's minor enough that *most* won't see it.

P.S. good eye!
