I rather liked ackstars.  They tasted a lot like a fresh MLT.  Not worth going back to WB just to kill them, though.

That'd be an interesting use for bomber perks, though.  Single B17 with automagic gunners.  No formation.

People whine about the so-called "laser guns" on the bombers now, imagine the whines if we had auto-guns.  A new radio channel would have to be created just for all the whines it would generate.

the original deathstars were the fully manned B17s from AW.  Those were a downright pain the arse to shoot down and great fun to crew.
