262 and its wings
« on: April 18, 2007, 12:22:49 PM »
Sometimes when I fly the 262 wings will rip at 430 or so when I do a shallow climb.  Other times when I go into a dive and climb at 550 the wings dont rip.  So is this a bug or this modeled correctly because Im I dont think wings ripping at 430 and not ripping at 550 is right.

If your going fast use trim to turn or clib out of a dive. Even 3Gs at 450MPH is alot for them to handle.

Redbull should be a loadout option in the hanger.  When you rip your wings off you pop the Redbull and you're good to go.

This would be much easier to implement than the oft asked for repair hanger/pad.

It could also be a perk option.

P.S. Oh, I also don't think it's right that 262s shed wings so easily.

But the thing that puzzles me is that Ive gone 500+ and pull out into a climb and wings dont rip and when i got around 425 and pull into a climb the wings rip.

fuel?

remember the 262 carries alot of fuel. A light 262 can do some very hard G turns without failure, but you can break wings off in hard turns just after take off if its heavy....

Death would come long before you waited that long.  I dont think death is good, but you may disagree.
