Pls redesignate the "M4" tank to just "Firefly"

The Sherman M4 VC Firefly should not have the M4 tag.  the Firefly is a different beast, that should be known as the "Firefly"

That was exactly what I was thinking when I was flying around some Sherman VC Fireflies a couple days ago, One flaw about simply Designating it the "Firefly" is the fact that there were numerous models of M4 Medium tanks that had been converted to the 17 Pdr.  including the
Sherman IIC Firefly
Sherman IVC Firefly
Sherman VC Firefly
Sherman VIIC Firefly

Maybe possibly designating it simply as "SHERM" since you cant fit too many letters when viewing it in flight if you get what I mean

Similar discussion here, where I make the following point:

The Ta-152 shows up as a "190" until close enough to be identified separately. The Tempest shows as a "Typh" until it gets close.

So, it would follow, that any M4 chassis would show as "M4" until you are close enough to identify it as a specific variant. Imagine seeing 6 M4s on a battlefield, not knowing until you are close enough in your jabo of choice to pick out "FRFL" from "M4A3" from "M4105" from whatever. Same could go for the PzkwIV if they ever decided to do multiple variants (Pnzr becoming PzH, PzC, PzF, etc.).

To the question of why no other Sherman variants in this version. The reason is simply a lack of time. We had to shoehorn the Firefly just to get it in. I'm trying to work it out to go back and make a single pass to add a number of missing vehicle variants to the game. We could add a lot of vehicles really quick that way.

So, no, it shouldn't be iconed as a "Firefly" -- at least not yet.
