I'm curious -  while I won't argue the Sabre was not a beautiful AC, shouldn't the P-47 be in your top ten list?

It's a beauty contest, in terms of practicality, the 47 is pretty high on the list.

On the beauty scale, the 47 (specifically the D-23) comes in at position 21 on my list.
