I should also add that fighting at those altitudes (25K+) and those speeds (350 IAS minimum) was very, very interesting. It's a whole new ball game fighting like that... particularly when icon range is 3.5 and in an instant a 7+ strong force of Tempest appears right behind you! It is also very hard to keep a fighter group together at those speeds.... If you lose visual contact on a squadie for any longer than 30 seconds and they're not following you... they're gone.

Must say Xasthur I always enjoy your AAR pics of the Prawns.

What country do you guys fly for? i wouldnt mind linking up with you sometime on one of your German missions if you dont mind.

Son of the CO of JG 11, so i fly only German, could be fun to fly together.

 :salute

I'm glad you enjoy them, I do my best to make them a little more interesting than they would be if they were just a bunch of assorted pictures.

The Raw Prawns are usually a Rook squad.... but we'll change without a problem.

Any time you catch us on just PM me and we'll either come and join you and JG 11. You're also most welcome to come and join us any time you like.

It would be an honour to join you guys on a Fw 190A run some time. I've seen some of your propaganda films and it looks like it would be great fun to join in.

I finally found out how to actually get Screen shots from the film viewer. Here are some shots from a sortie in my Jug D40:

The 1st victim a Hurri2c:

Sniping a F6F, while in a 500mph dive:

After about 2 minutes of TnB'n with an La5, i finally out-scissored him and ended up on his 6:

After killing the La5, I checked my 6, only to find a Spit9 600 off. After getting him to overshoot he pulled a loop and came back around on me. I again got him to overshoot, and did a barrel roll which put me in a perfect setup for a deflection shot, which took off his tail:

I RTB'd and got a proxy on a C205 that augered. I successfully landed 5 kills.

Sorry, I'm slightly bored with these standard attack images, all the fires look alike [:

So... I took 5 minutes of my time, and used some GIMP that I don't know how to use all that well

An attempt to make an SS look like Luftwaffe guncam footage...

Got to find a better shot... was fun practice, though.
