V85 is always fun when you're bored.

Friendlies - few
Enemies - many
Cv - offshore
Spawn - camped

Let's have some fun with a jeep!!

That looks like a nice hill, lets ramp it and dodge some tank shells

Ok, not exactly according to plan. No matter, ride it out!

Oh, hello T34. Nice weather we're having isn't it?

AND he sticks the landing!

And here's the video that I tossed some quick editing into because video makes it more epic!  ;) :aok

(Sorry if the music got it blocked in your country. YouTube sure is a party pooper.)

that dont seem logical. mere 50s wood flame a zeke. your canons should vaporize it.
Don't mistake a lack of fuel protection for a fragile airframe. The A6M had to survive carrier operations and was a robust aircraft.

Latrobe, I tried several times to flip a jeep like that last night. You are a master jeep jumper, I could not land wheels down.  :rock :salute

Thanks Arlo.  :airplane:

THe gif is not me flying, for I can only dream of throwing a P-47 around like that. I stole it from Lepape2's youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3HPaXGUDrM (Specifically 4:15-4:20).

He is amazing, must be using some jedi magic to pull off these moves.

Don't be so quick to down yourself, go back and watch some of your films from a floating camera point. You may be throwing it around more than you think. I was watching one of my old films and noticed that I was throwing the plane around a lot. Being inside the cockpit can make it seem like you aren't moving too much relative to the ground.

As for the maneuver, looks like he drops flaps bleeds E, pulls hard on the stick to stall. Most likely aileron and hard opposite rudder to keep it from rolling around like a dog with no legs. I wouldn't take my word on that just yet though, I've been trying to do some of these moves and they are tricky to get right. They only seem to work if you have one con on you and it's D200 or less. about 75% of the time they will just end up colliding you anyway because they are so eager to get the shot.

JG5's XO and III./JG5 Wing Leader working together to cleanse the skies of British aircraft.

JG5's CO and III Wing Leader flying together. Performing the Thach Weave, the 109E4 pulls the P-47 right into the 109F4's guns!

Another successful sortie for JG5!

A very nice person PM'd me a really cool custom 109E skin with my name printed on the side just below the canopy. It inspired me to fly the Emil a lot more recently.  :)

The Emil has claimed Spitfires...

Il-2's...

And bombers as well  :t

(boy that was a close call!)
