Just want to express a public thank you to Widewing and Murdr for the great clinic on bombing last night!  I never realized the A20 was so capable.   Thank you guys for all the good info.  I look forward to the next chance to learn from you.

Yes, great clinic.

I agree on the A20, but maybe we should keep it a secret.

Thanks again, Widewing!

There have been other recent threads on the A-20.  The secret is out.

Thanks, Widewing. Your are a talking encyclopedia when it comes to WWII warplanes.  I just wish I had the memory to retain everything I heard.  I did record it all and will be going over the film.

Widewing,
sorry I missed the clinic last night - the new patch took forever to download.

Condor, is there any way you could make the film available? I'd sure appreciate it.

Regards,

Optiker

It a 30.5Mb file 2hrs and 37min long.  I just recorded the whole time we were on.  A lot of it is discussion on the merits of different planes as fighters as well as dive bombers and has little to do with dive bombing.  A big chunk is guys learning to use the A-20 as a fighter.  A lot of intersting stuff but probably too big to post.   I believe Widewing mentioned recording the training.  He may have something a liitle more manageable that covers just the dive bombing training.  I'm willing to share. just don't know how to deal with such an enormous file.

You gentlemen are quite welcome.

I have a film. It's very long at well over 2 hours (about 21 megs). I could edit it and chop it down to perhaps 30 minutes, but it would still be a huge download for a dial-up connection.

I'm glad you enjoyed the A-20G. It's a terrific aircraft and great fun.

My regards,

Widewing
