That's the best you're going to get without chopping out a lot of the picture.

The only other option would be to shrink it down further, and have it be wide, but not tall.

well that was my problem, I tried croping it, but then after shrinking it to 80x80 it was too small to see, cause it actually came out to 80 x45, sucked.
My son said he adjusted the resolution and then made the avatar.

Here's my attempt. I had to crop it so it wasn't distorted, but I don't think I cut too much out.
