What is with the sand?

WTF is with the sand in new patch.....ran into small patches twice in gv's and then sat and bounced.  Need to fix this crap..nothin like wastin 15 mins to drive from spawn to be taken out by quicksand at the bottom of a hill....5k away from beach....losin people quick HT...might wanna figure this stuff out
