2nd day of the first patch i jumped into one on a vbase.

A Ghi mission just pulled up from NOE killed 6 Typhoons and Ghi's c47  

Also  took out 3  oLAMEo guys  in their 190's trying to de-ack a field.

i think it just takes getting use to i landed 15 kills in 1 sortie in field ack plus another 12 later that same day.

Just page up hit F10 to save head position and follow the tracers, no need for mouse.

Did they draw crosshairs on the canopies of Corsairs in WW2? Did they use a dry-erase marker in Shermans to target other tanks, hrmmm? Did they leave their mouse cursor in the middle of the screen when they dropped the atomic bomb? I DON'T THINK SO!

Anyway i dont mind the new manned ack sights but the iron sights for AA guns on tanks is crap, kinda of reminds me of a real bad knockoff of CoD. Ive also noticed sometimes the manned ack position cuts 100% all enemy icons off (when in default gunsight view) at certain angles, even if the enemy is in your sights it glitches in and out for the icons, might just be me on crack but never know.

I was looking for that picture! That's what I wanted the sights to look like, but I never found a good picture. I'm gonna put the b-25 on hold for a bit and get to work beefing up the current sight to reflect what's in that pic.

I like it better, I'm now getting 3.5k kills on a more consistent basis.   It's easier to lead, IHMO.   This is about all I'll say since I get accused of "having an ego" when I discuss my Field Gun abilities.

However, the ONLY thing you need to lead properly is the center dot of the sight, I have never used the rings.

I was always curious: what is the purpose of the rings and spider web?  They can't be lead helpers as you have to lead way beyond the circle anyway.

Then again maybe I'm missing something simple because I cannot hit a thing with either the old or new field gun sights.

The only kills I ever got in a field gun are Proxy kills.
