Aces High II's Atomic Bomb?

You think the AH2 founders/editors can add the B-29 and it's ability to wield atomic bombs such as the small boy and the fat man?

Boy, that would probably get the fun out of the game. I mean, we can take out an airfield or a city with just one bomb and capture the base lol, though it will be ill-equipped because the bomb got rid of all the objects.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Maybe a bomb that is similar to the atomic bomb but with lesser, sub-properties?-- not as lethal as the actual atomic bomb?

What's the most powerful bomb in Aces High II anyway?

If it's not the B-29, can it be the V-2 rocket? Do some caliberation, and let a player have the ability to launch a V-2 rocket using certain measurements that is readable? Oh well...just ideas.

The current largest bomb the the Stuka car bomb:)

HTC has mentioned in the past that there will NEVER be a A-bomb in Aces High.

The 4,000lb bomb on the Lancaster is the biggest bomb in AH and HTC has said that it will remain the largest bomb as well.


As to the B-29A, why are 66% of the requests for it paired with the ridiculous request for the atomic bomb?

99.999% of B-29 raids were done with conventional bombs.  it is entirely appropriate to have the B-29A in AH using conventional bombers.  There is no need to ask for, or have, the atomic bombs.

It is worse that asking for B-25s to be available off of the CV, which is another patently ridiculous request.

I say give everyone a button when they log in that resets the servers.  On the button write "Press to Bomb and Win the War."  Done.  Your a super hero for a second, in your own mind obviously.  Then you try to log in again and press the button again.  :aok:rofl

What'll be funny to see is how many "Where's the nuke?!?" threads we get once the B-29A is added with conventional bombs only.

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
