The "ghost car" is a classic example of how video DOES lie (or at least provides inadequate information).

The car jumped a median just as it went out of view to the left. The gate looks like its on that median and ends to the left of where the police car headlights end up. So basically the white car went to the left of the gate and the cops car missed the median hop and went to the right of the gate. The criminals then killed their lights, but I bet if you question the cops, they'd tell you they heard them driving down the road on the other side of the fence. It looks all strange because the camera is fixed and its bad visibility (night). Notice they don't show you any daytime video of the area? I've a feeling it wouldn't be as interesting.

It was an "eye" tooth. right?  ;)

I had to put my namesake Sox (A Golden Retriever-Lab mix) down at the ripe old age of four because of terminal cancer.

I woke up in the middle of the night a few days later and I could FEEL her presence there on the corner of the bed that she always slept on.It almost seemed like I could see her.

Who knows if there are ghosts. But I could swear my dog was there that night.

Nope. The dead cannot pass to the physical world. The Lord told the rich man; there is a gulf between here & there that you can't pass.

Anyone who sees a "ghost" or other paranormal event is seeing a being who was never human. Angels are not bound by the same laws as human spirits & can pass, that goes for Satan's angels (demons) as well. That's just my belief of course & others feel differently.

Guppy35; your wife needs help. I feel sick inside trying to imagine what you're going through, I have never lost a child like that, my wife miscarried our first child (my only son) but losing them in an accident is totally different. My prayers go out to comfort you & your wife & my condolences.

Brenjen, I'd agree with you were it not for a certain episode wherein Saul had a witch call up the spirit of Samuel.

Got one that follows the family from generation to generation...  Never seen him/her, but we see what it inexplicably affects around the house from time to time.

Do pet ghosts count?  Saw my Aussie out of the corner of my eye while at work the other day.  Automatically reached down to pet her, and grabbed a fistfull of air...  telling me I needed to take a break from the desk.

I can't say I have seen a ghost. But I can say I hear something often.

My Mother died in mine and my wifes home. She had cancer. SHe lived with us for 16 months. We took care of her the last few of those and moved her into our bedroom downstairs. She died in our room.

Her bedroom was directly above the master bedroom , where she lived most of the 16 months. When she would get up in the morning I could hear her walking. I could hear the shower and TV upstairs. Mom wore a certain perfume. She used certain shampoo and lotion. WHen she moved into our home she brought a bunch of her stuff with her.

I have heard her walking at times in the morning. I hear noises that she used to make upstairs at times , and most of those times is when I am in thought about something. It's been so loud at times that I have literally said out loud , for Mom to calm down. I hear her.

I have been setting on the porch where she and I used to spend a lot of time talking and discussing things , and smell her lotion , her perfume. Or , setting inside feel a small whisp of air come by and smell that smell. I feel her there alot of times.

It may be nothing. But I really think that she visits us. I believe she is happy in heaven and just pay us a visit to help us know that she still watches over us and lets us know she is there.

I hope someday Dan that you can feel what your wife feels. It's a great feeling almost all the time. Sad yes. But just to feel that presence for a split second is really a great thing.

There are more things that happen....and they are all good. Never ever scarey at all. Just sharing these lil things that mean the world to my wife and I.

That was in the old testament; different laws applied then.

The old testament is a set of laws & stories that the Lord said were done. Those days were indeed times of open miracles.... in the new testament apostles & charlatans were addressed as well.

I recall a few other times where people saw spirit incarnations; once was of Moses & Elijah (even though Elijah never technically died). That was Jesus that they appeared before though & since he IS God the physical rules do not apply.

My biggest question/doubt is this: "what is a miracle today?" If only one person sees, feels or hears it; is it still a miracle? If only one person experiences it; then the rest of society can explain it away as a delusion. In my mind an open miracle is something that is physically impossible & is witnessed by the masses as such. But a miracle can be something other than a blatant open miracle like that as well.

For instance people say, if God is real how can he allow children to suffer? Hard to answer that, but I think it's possible that God animates the physical body of children for our benefit even though he has already accepted their souls into heaven. That way, we see an infant baking alive in a fire screaming in agony but in reality God has them by his side in bliss already & we are none the wiser that a miracle has taken place.

Some people will say I'm hammering a square peg into a round hole & making something fit my perception & that's true in a sense; I like to think of it that I use my faith to comfort me regardless of the situation.

I used the analogy of the child burning to death because that is something I've experienced first hand. It's hard to listen to a child burn to death, trapped in a place you can't get to them, but the safety mechanism I use is my faith. Without that faith I really doubt I would have the mental strength to deal with those things; thankfully horrible tragedies have only happened in my vicinity twice in my life.

Been there, and still smell and hear it from time to time.   Don't care to repeat the situation and for sure don't want to go out that way either.
