I have wireless broadband and it's working pretty good . Had it for over 3 years now .
http://interactive.ispmgt.com/pages/Wireless_Internet"2. Unlike other wireless Internet Services, our broadband signal is non line-of-sight and travels through trees, walls, and everything in between allowing us to reach more customers, without the use of bulky towers on your roof. "
Mine is not just "line of sight" .
If you find a co to get it from , they should come to your home and check what kind of signal that you should get etc . I am about 3 miles from the "grain leg" on the local grain eleavator .
I get same speeds uploading and downloading , about 64k or so sometimes 92k .
Not any worse for droped packets if it's working good . Some Sunday mornings it's funny acting but thats cause of no tech guys there till 8 am and they always seem to have that fixed about 8:30 am . That don't happen always though .
I did have to get a static IP address , cause they flushed the routers every hour and then I would disco . After that I was golden , as they say .
cu soon ??
