Of the 109s to fly, which is the best? i know that there is a different plane for each style of pilot. I'm looking for the best turn fighter, with a good climb rate.
Thanks for the info...

I like the 109F4. Good climb rate, decent speed and it turns pretty well. The G2 and G6 are good solid performers as well.

between 109F, 109G-2, and 109G-6...

109F is the best imo  
109G-2 is a 109F with slightly more powerful engine.  
109G-6 has draggier airframe.

109G-14 is like the spit 16
109K-4 is like the spit 14

Bf-109 G-14 like the spixteen?!? Er, ive never felt the similarities...

Personally, on the deck, I take the Bf-109 G-14, but as soon as you start fighting at 12,000 or above, I take the Bf-109 G-6. I actually find the Bf-109 G-6 to be the most maneuverable of them all, to the point where the only reason I ever take the Bf-109 G-14 at all is that mk 108.

109F and G-2 toss up F is the turner and burner while G-2 is the better of the two in the vert but a little worse in the turn and burn.

F-4 turns a little tighter, G-2 is a lot faster and climbs a lot better. That engine is really nice at times.

So, depends if you REALLY need that last little bit of turning. Overall I say the G-2 is better. If you can't out-turn something in a G2, you really won't out-turn it in a F4, and it's time to start using the vertical -- which is where that nice powerful engine comes into play.

I like the G-14 and the G-6 too, but I've taken to loading them with gondolas. They're great for buff-hunting.

Having those 400 cannon rounds really helps in those 'sea of red' situations.

I have the most fun flying 109-F4's.

I think 109-K4's are better for survivability, though.

K4 (and no, its not like the Spit14)

K4 is for the manly man, and Spit14 is for the girly girl.

The 30mm really teaches you to aim properly and in _theory_ should give you 65 fighterkills on a single loadout :cool:

Most of the time I get about 4-6 kills in a K4 depends if they are warpy or stick sturers.

F4 and G2 are the best turn fighters in that order but they are close.  Either one will turn with a Spit (except maybe a V).

K4 is really a bnz plane with some turning ability.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
