Umm... had to white screens today.  Where AH encountered problems.

So an updated vid driver is the answere for this ?

I have experienced the same thing since the latest patch.
Update vid drivers?

I don't know for sure LYNX.

I formatted my HDD, reinstalled XP and AH. Updated the Video driver but forgot to update the sound card. (Actually install it) Once I did that, AH2 started right up. Crazy thing, it's more vibrant and seems to play much better. Still getting light screen pauses in high traffice with a lot of trees, but it's manageable now.

I had to re-update the Sound Card driver again to get the vox working though.

Maybe you could just scale back the sound acceleration in the DXDiag properties? That would be a Skuzzy question though.
