OK this is completly off the wall but here is the place to look cause you guys are rescourcfull.

I'm working on a special project and I need a piece of music that's "military like"

Usually you see it in the begining of some scene and it's got horns and some really cool drum raps.

I know it's been in alot of commercials and movies but can't think of one off the top of my head.

That's about all I got  :aok (yes I know Thanks Career Point)

but if any of you have any light bulbs pop on it'd be greatly appreciated as I have no clue where to start looking.

The William Tell Overture immediately comes to mind.

Sousa marches are always a hit.

Burning Bridges .. for a little lighter hearted moments.

And, of course, Bridge over the River Kwai..

Sounds like the theme from Glory, one of the most used soundtracks of the last 15 years or more.

This is it here.

One of my all-time favorite soundtracks, btw.

Umm, that's really narrowing it down there Guns. Being a proud former member of the World's Largest Non-Nuclear Coast Guard Marching Band, I can give you some suggestions for military-esque patriotic music.

National Emblem
El Capitan
Stars and Stripes Forever
The Thunderer
The Washington Post
Liberty Bell

Ok lets see if I can narrow this down from text only.  Again if we can figure this out it will be a credit  to our community:

It starts out with horns:

Duh duh duh.........duh duh duh........duh....duh....duh. ....rat tit tat.....rat tit tat

The rat part is the drums.

I think it might also be the intro to some film company as well.

Still sounds just like the Glory soundtrack to me.
