High Dweebery on the open seas
« on: May 13, 2007, 10:20:58 AM »
Late last night/early this morning a Member of Dragons of Steel, Axer, took control of the Bishop CV in Mid-war while it was off the coast of A42. Three other Bishops and I were attacking A42 at the time. His squadmate Dextur proceeded to up Ki-67s and sink the CV after firing a few futile shots from the shore battery. Then he, Axer, switched back to Knights with his squaddie.

At the time there were between 6 and 10 people on both the Knight and Bishop side, so we wern't landgrabbing an undefended base. Well, it was undefended, but there were people on who could have chosen to defend it. Axer has a score below 10, so wresting control of the CV away from him was not possible at the time.

There was a thread not too long ago where it was suggested when this type of high dweebery occoured, the offenders should be called out.

To their credit they did provide hours of excellent fights shortly after this act. They are excellent pilots (far better than myself) and after a bit became respectful adversaries ('s on 200 and the like).

To Axer & Dextur specifically: Excellent fights later gents, but the CV antics were completely uncalled for from pilots of your skill.

Axer and Dextur are brothers they always milk together to get score. Personally I had no idea that they went to these lengths to do so. :/

Just another shining example of why score/rank means absolutely squat in this game ... yes, it determines who can control a CV, but it is far from an indicator of one's skills.

Sure hasn't taken very long for this recent batch of squeekers to understand how to game the game and then try to prance around like a Bantam Rooster thinking they are the 'l33t'.

Hahahah axer is my co im ni the squad or was until CC got stolen but we keep in touch they r great chaps. Firstly axer is dextur's dad but his mom was in a very serious life threatening accident so axer is now played by his brother while his dad watches over his mother. I started these idea's whybu think our squad is so good... We go to early war and team people and we capture bases up de arse... LOL So that tactic is purly used to get rid of a CV. Though it is dweeby it only cuts the cv lifepsan by 2 minutes XD. Yeah hey r good pilots, i been trying 2 get em 2 tell me how they have so few deaths and so many kills... weather they up in their plane if they see no good fights they land or if they get high up dive and get kills and rise up 2 safety and if they get 1 ding rtb Dont know. But i did have honor of killing dextur in seafire while he was in a la-7 rofl head2head turnpass he popped infront of me less than 1 second pop in face, but yeah just leave em 2 do whatever they wish. We in dos would always switch country's to the country who is losing 2 help em out y u think we went from rooks 2 nits
