<Salute> Knights from V46 Battle.
« on: May 13, 2007, 12:20:38 PM »
I would like to Salute the 50+ Knights that tried to take V46 last night.  That has got to be the most intense battles I have seen in ages.  To all those that I shot down, or bombed me down, Salute.  I was a bit busy to send you the proper acknowledgment at the time.

I can tell you that from the Bishops point of view, we got pounded.  I haven't seen that many planes, dropping that many bombs since I started AH.  WHAT A FIGHT!

At any rate, a big Salute from all the LTAR.  Was Great Fun!

I'll second that, V46 was an epic battle to say the least.  Fought hard by both Knight and Bish, I got my $14.95's worth 3 times over.

Great fun!!

<> Knights @ V46
What started off as a light scrap at V46 turned into a multi Hour Battle. There is no telling how many tons of ords was dropped on us at that base. To all the attack AC at the base P38's and F6f's occassionally TBM's a big <>. To the dweebs who were dive bombing in buffs carpet bombing the field learn the art of level bombing. Much fun fellows <>

How many times did we have to gun down troops 3 seconds after a VH came back up?  I lost count.

Must have been a few people with 5-10 kills off of one bomb as we scrambled from the vh when one popped.

Good defense of the carrier, too!  It didn't seem to matter at what altitude we came in, someone was providing CAP co-alt.  And if the CAP was missing, someone (pardon me for forgetting who, may have been several) was murdering us from the 5".

Good times!

Honestly I don't know!!  I think it's Pinky Pie (she's my favorite) but the site I got it from doesn't say for sure.  As you probably know, there are lots of pink My Little Ponies (50 Adult Earth, 7 Baby Earth, 4 Adult Pegasus plus a few more babies and Breezies).

FYI, this is the best site  for ID'ing M.L.P.s!!!

Was fun. I bagged me a few LTARs and others with my divebombing G2. Its good practise so kill good shooters with the 250kg. Felt rather silly when i augerd my bird.....twice, but it was fun. :)
