<S> The 3 part battle to take V 37

all who was apart of the 3 part bomber mission's to hit v37 last night on the late main blue last night, was about a 2-3 hour mission overall together and it was fricking inteanse, best bomber mission i've hosted yet. For those who werent in it i'll give some example's of what happened:


(Us) 5-6 b17's 12x 500IB's for payload on 25% fuel, 3-4 47N's as escort.

our flight path was from a18- V37.


once we took off, the bomber's got in tight formation so we could better withstand the high alt 51's that were IB, about 5mins after take off we spot the first 51 (their scout) once we saw that first 51 i told all bomber's to man your AA gun's because we were in for a hell of a ride to the target, 2mins later we spot 4 51's IB fast, we were approaching 11k alt and our target alt was 15k, then all hell broke loose, wave after wave they kept coming in, Rook's know how to rumble at high alt when they can and last night proved it, we were bish's. 5mins into the onslaught we lose 2 b17 groups to the diving 51's, then outta no where we spot 3 190's IB with a few 109's, now i'm thinking (Oh crap, this is gonna be a hell of a ride to get out) by then our escort's our trying to get the 51's to target them and in the mix they were shot down, so about 15mins after take off we have 3 bomber's out of the 6 remaining and 2 has lost a drone, if that couldent be be worse, multiple turret's were out on each of our bomber's so we had to do the best we can to drop our payload and RTB. were about 85% there and the next b17 is shot down so it's 2 remaining. We release our payload on V37's town and head toward's A1. I'm on 5mins fuel remaining and i got a 51 and a 190 on my six, thankfully one of the guy's that joined my mission joined my 17 to gun, his name was kakzuki if i recall or slimilar to that, we down the 190 but he has took out of tail gun and our top turret is outta ammo, and we still have a 51 tailing fast, so im thinking we wont make it, 51 dive's in, i bank west then pull up, 51's hitting my bomber and....BOOM he ram's me, loses a wing and goe's down the 51 that was tailing me was Lt.Talon so i give him a salute and he return's the favor.  I'm decenting to a 1 and my engine shut's off from no fuel, from then on i coast it and RTB with filozo from my sqaud and only 2 b17's made it back out of the 18 bomber's total  that was an intense mission and i salute all of the rook's who gave us a run for our money
