Made me remember when I was in the bleachers at Yankee Stadium vs the Mariners, the Yankee fans were giving it to him really bad that day. He held his glove over his right shoulder, and flipped us all off with his left finger :)

Flipping someone off in New York, that's sort of a "Howdy, how y'all doing" wave for New York, isn't it?  At least it was when I lived 20 miles West of NYC....

Yeah he actually got quite a few cheers from them. Albert Belle did the  two-arm F-U sign a few weeks later, also to a few cheers down the left field line.

Almost forgot... in that same game Griff threw the final out into the bleacher seats at the end of one of the late innings.
