I have a suggestion.

As we know, alot of people enjoy the ground fights on Aces High II, well why not make it more enjoyable?  There are only a selected fiew tanks available for combat.  M8 Grey Hound, Sherman, Tiger, Panzer4, T34.  Why settle for just those, when there are so much more that can liven the battle.  One of these would be British tanks.  The Matilda II, the brit equivilent of the Tiger, the Chirchill tank is another example.  Including tanks such as these would make the game much more enjoyable.

You just registered, so you might be very very new . . .

The Sherman Firefly was just added.  Pyro implied that there may be multiple Sherman variants in the future.  So, the ground game is not being ignored.

That being said, this is first and foremost an air-combat game.  The ground war will always play second fiddle.  The pace of aircraft additions is very slow, and ground vehicle additions will probably be slower still.

So, don't hold your breath.

But, rest assured, there are many of like mind on the matter.

Aces High is a WWII combat sim. The ground war will always come second to the air war. There is alot more to add to AH before they "finnish" it and start a new game.

I've largely given up on the ground war. It's great for some, but to get spawn camped, or no pinged x amount of times is (x) +1 for me.

I know that the ground war takes second fiddle to the air, that we have to live with but i feel the ground war has grown over the years and the number of members playing just for the ground war has increased, i personally enjoy the tactical and skilful side of the ground war. it would be great to have more variety ie: british tanks, i hope will come one day as the game creaters must be aware they have a large number of british members. :aok
