Is AH wide screen supported?

yes... my 22 inch widescreen works perfect... be sure to select "show all resolutions" and your native res will be there.

It works by scaling up the screen in a standard ratio, until it is as wide as your screen. The "letterbox" is cropped at the top and bottom. You lose a bit of viewspace on top and bottom.

If you've got your views set up properly, or use TIR, it shouldn't be much of a problem (says I, the person who hasn't experienced it), but be aware of it.

You can use widescreen, but you will lose some FOV at the top and bottom of the screen. There's a few pictures for comparison in this thread.

4:3 aspect ratio FOV: H90, V67.5
16:9 aspect ratio FOV: H90, V50.6

You lose 16.5 degrees vertical field of view when going to 16:9 aspect ratio.
