All the argument aside, but I'd really like to see these politicians who are supposed to be attending sessions and voting on the proposals for their constiuents would either attend and vote on the issues instead of spending their time campaigning.  McCain apparently just missed his 43rd consecutive vote, this latest one on the budget outline.  It seems to me that you should have to make a choice.  Running for another office while you are in a current office would mean you have to vacate your seat in the current office.

That's actually a pretty decent idea.  But would the people who actually control the laws that are written really do it?
