The fact that Fox News (a very Conservative based news organization) gave a very extremely Liberal film maker a story that got air time and internet exposure shows they DO make an effort to be fair and balanced.

If it were my network? His fat behind would only get a mention for his obituary.

But then again, I read and analyze the facts.

The BBC is about as biased as they come.

I really don't care to get in a source war about it. Besides, its not about Left-Right. Or it shouldn't be at least. I'd like to see all networks fairly critiquing all sides, but that never happens anywhere.

Outfoxed is a good video though that gets into the issue. Its more than just what articles say, but the balance of their editorials, both print and video, and who they get as commentators as well.

Yeah, all the news networks suck, universally. I'm not trying to deny that, but Fox is really one of the worst (hard to top the others). That it was started by Roger Ailles (sp?) only throws questions on its 'fairness', as does Turner and CNN for that matter.

OK, whoever tried to challenge Letterman on O'Riley being full of BS, one doesn't need to cite a source when its common knowledge. His continuing trend to tell dissenters to shut up is but one small example. I really don't have the time, energy or care to deal with that man any further.

You cannot stream audio w/dialup or utilize youtube? That's no good. The news radio I listen to is very lean and lacks any real personal opinions. It's quite dry really. No bells and whistles just the news, and that is exactly what I look for when I look for information.

I know what it is, I just would like to know why he decided to enter the thread if he had nothing to say about the topic, just jumped in with a drive-by insult. He loses respect that is for sure.

Keith Oberman is a joke.

Even if I wanted to watch MSBNC to get some news it's simply impossible. It's always shows about California Prison's.

Red Eye makes me want to vomit by the way. It is the most un-funny, annoying show ever put on the air.

I thought Oberman was ok when he was on ESPN

in regular News though he is exactly as you say, a joke.

More and more on ALL the news networks I am seeing "Journalists" inserting their opinions on political news.

I dont WANT your flipping opinion.

Whenever Wolf Blitzer needs a political statement or second opinion on an issue he always refers to Jack Cafferty. I guess that's CNN version of a "fair and balanced" approach.... The poor guy starts foaming at the mouth everytime GWB name is mentioned...

I've listened to John Gibson from time to time, from Fox news. Last week he was comparing the differences in how conservatives vs liberal are treated in interviews, it was quite entertaining....

How much can you spin or slant the truth about a sports event?

Two teams play, and there's a final score, with thousands of witnesses.

It would be great if all news could be simplified like that.
