OMG!!!

I gotta do it.

Anyone who thinks they don't want to peek at that video needs to check it out.

Horsebow, thumb ring so you can nock from the outside (with practice), quiver full of arrows.  Lots of fish in 30 seconds.

A crossbow would be fun too.

What kind of fish is it?
Is it tasty?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

No. They're carp. Junk fish. But some "cultures" do eat them.

Apparently this was done on the Illinois river, near Peoria.  (I've been on the river and don't recall carp flying like that though.)

Looks like fun.

If you watch all the way through, at the end one of the guys has fish marks splatted on his black sweatshirt.

Maybe we need helmets to fish now?

Dude, those fish in the video are not Goby. The Goby is the fish on the BOTTOM of that tank you have a link to. The fish suspended is a small mouth bass.

You might be right...  I knew that it is an exotic species which when I googled the gobi came up, but it could be the  asian big head or silver carp  instead.

What makes them jump out of the water like that?

Ripsnort, some folks do eat carp, it's supposed to be really good if its prepared properly. In Europe, especially England, the Carp is considered a game fish also.
