I too have been the recipient of 0DALLASo's insipid VOX rants. And here I thought I was the only one subjected to this sweetheartbag's idiocy.

Actually, it makes me want to hunt him down all the more...

i try very hard not to whine on 200, but i have been known to talk crap to runners, or nme that i feel are lame.

last night i was outside nme base by myself, i got 3 killz nonvulches, a bunch start uppin so now there is more then i can kill, i try my best to take out as many as i can, i snap roll a ho shot, kill this guy. he PM's me says im a loser, i suk whatever, i just lol on 200:lol

but they are easily enraged and unlike uptown they get annoying

Was funny seeing two of them talk watermelon to RedTop last night. Even funnier seeing them give "advice" on how to fight, considering these guys have yet to see a 1v1 fight they didn't run from.

I can honestly say I have never had a person tune to my vox after a kill and complain to me, not that it doen't happen I just have not had it happen to me. Usually it is an exchange of or "good fight" or some form of casual to semi sarchastic banter. I find it best not to fly mad, so if someone does get my dander up I usually switch arenas or go afk till I can relax. But hey that is just me.

It's really not that hard. You learn to tune out lamers like him real quick.

Whats kind of funny is....these guys were coming in with alt and numbers every time. It was about 2 to 1 at least. So , we were having a time. I had been hoed at least 2 times a run. SO I finally just started hoing back every time I was up. Personally I hate ho's...but when outnumberd like that and getting em most runs , its all bets are off. Ya never know until the fight is done who hoed ya or what.

AFter filling a few faces with some 20mm and the numbers got back to semi even I quit. I got picked a couple of times and decided to take off and grab a bit.....Then when the tables are turned and I shot a few down I became picktard.....

Fight the numbers....best way ya can and with the HO bascially in retaliation and get picked by those guys. Turn the tables and fight thier way and get called a pick tard....

Was definatly a no win for me that morning.

I definately agree that the "loudmouths" tend to be far more belligerent to names they don't recognize than those they do. In my first 6 weeks or so here I was subjected to several PM rants and one oMoron0 VOX rant.

Since then, it's been all quiet.

It definately made me feel that AH is an unfriendly place - I'm a veteran flight sim player (7 years) and not terribly thin skinned - but I was beginning to feel uncomfortable with the tirades.

I think that the PM/VOX nonsense should be eliminated by a toggle that prevents cross country coms, which defaults to off for new players. A game that eats it's own young -which is what this one does when it harasses new players, especially those new to the genre - decreases it's own revenue stream and it's chances of survival.

One of the few areas where I feel that HTC takes a stupid risk is letting a few loud egos potentially "ruin" a new player's enjoyment of a what may have been a monumental achievement for them.
