Perfect monitor for Aces High

Ok, it's not at all sexy  but show me an LCD that can run Aces High at 1880x1440!

I just bought a Dell 21" Trinitron CRT  off Craigslist for $35.  Probably the best thirty five bucks I have ever spent!  I replaced my old 19" Viewsonic CRT with this 70 pound monster and gained almost 2" of screen size as well as being able to increase my resolution from 1600x1200 to a whopping 1880x1440!  Beautiful!   Let's see you do that with your LCD!  Of course you have to hire piano movers to help you position it on your desk.

Long live the CRT!  :D

Still hard to beat a nice big CRT monitor for gaming.

LCD's work fine for the office and surfing the net. But they still can't match the speed and clarity of a good CRT IMO.

Now a big Plasma, that might be tempting if I had a big stack of money laying around.

Big  CRT Monitors are great, but you need to put a fan toward them to blow the heat away from you, so you don't burn up while playing.......
"When one considers just what they should say to a new pilot who is logging in Aces High, the mind becomes confused in the complex maze of info it is necessary for the new player to know. All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

Plus the 16 degrees loss in the vertical.  Glad you can live with that.  I can't.

I went from a 19" CRT 1600X1200 to a 19" LCD 1280X1024

Even at the lower resolution, my skill increased dramatically after the switch.  The difference is like night and day.
