Thanks for your service Hornet. I've witnessed some pretty hairy situations in my short sailing career. I also have a lot of friends who fish and crab in Alaska as well so I know first hand what you speak of.
Although, I have had some bad experiences with the coasties and customs here in the Pac NW. I was once boarded in horrible conditions, which I thought was a bit irrational. They also bug the watermelon out of us for racing too close to the local port and tankers.
All in all though, watermelon does hit the fan out there from time to time, and it is nice to know someone has our backs. Thanks again.
