What? You had to make it dumb again?

Sending reports will not fix the problem. It just reports the message in Windows to Microsoft, so they can make a more descriptive window (if they choose to) in future Windows updates. Only HTC can change the AH code.

First, how/why did your computer crash in the first place? What did you do to fix this crash?

Second, when you reinstalled aces high, did you leave all of your old files (maps, skins, whatever) in place? If any of them are corrupted by the crash, the fresh install will still give an error if it's trying to read a bad file.

Third, well, let's leave "third" until we hear what happened in question "First", first.

Well if you could post what the error says, just the first line could help. Another thing you could do is run a Dxdiag and save the report. Cut and past the first third of that report here. It will list what drivers your using on what equipment and will help people figure out whats wrong.

Well to post the error, you'll have to write it down, then type it in the post.

To run the Dxdiag, click on run, then type in dxdiag, then click ok. When that finishes.... takes a minute, click on the save infor botton. It should save it to you desktop, but if not switch it to the desktop. Next open the dxdiag.txt file you just made on your desktop and copy and paste the first third of it. They don''t need all the info here, just the first third.

In the dxdiag report, just go down and include the info up to (including) the sound card. Don't bother copying the stuff after that point.
