D-Day Coverage on XM Radio June 6th

"Live" D-Day coverage starting at 11:41AM EST June 6, 2007.

Looks like it will be interesting!  I will be tuned in as soon as the G. Gordon Liddy show goes off at 12!  :D

it's going to be news breaks in proper time of day sequence for 40 hours... original newscast rebroadcasts.... with 40's music on the radio.... talk about immersion!  I will probably fly something online with invasion stripes during some of this :-D

LOL I really thought this would have been more popular here... Listening to 40's music... having archived newscasts breaking in in order of the time events happened in france... playing a little aces high....  It's gonna last 40 hours.

That sounds like a nice way to spend some time there. Unfortunately I don't have XM and can't play AH on a satelite, sigh....

meatwad i got a XM radio and 3 months subscription for less than $60 at best buy, it is now in my car... i bought a portable for everywhere else, got it refurbished for $79

Unfortunately my lag times are in the 800 to 1500 range. I've seen up to 2 seconds at times. I did try it on anoither game once. I went online with Americas Army to an empty server then took a shot at the wall. It took 3 seconds at times for the bullet hole in the wall to appear. A half second lag is rather noticable in AH, I'd hate to see a 1.5 to 2 second delay in game play. :(
