How would you have liked to share a flight and possibly a seat row with this guy under a Federal quarantine? I would think that this guy is likely to be hit with some law suits before long.

The thing I don't get is how they're "trying to locate" each of the people on each of the flights.

Wouldn't the airlines cooperate in providing manifests? And each passenger gives a pretty fair amount of personal information in order to purchase the ticket.  

Sounds like a no-brainer.:rolleyes:

I read that earlier.  I noticed he made the decision to fly *despite knowing* he had a rare form of TB.  Did he take any precautions?  Wear a mask?  No...doesn't look like it.

If you can be arrested for being a drunk tard on a flight, he should face more serious charges for knowingly carrying a deadly, airborne disease and flying anyways.

He actually only knew the severity of the disease on his last two flights from italy to prague and from prague to montreal.  

The fact that he didn't know the severity shouldn't matter.  His doctors advised him of the risks.  His disregard for those around him because he wanted to fulfill wedding plans is good enough in my book to file charges against him.  Your comparison is quite right, if a drunk driver plows into a car but doesn't kill anyone or hurt them is still going to have the book thrown at him.  As should this guy, but where's the precedent at?  I don't think there is one.
