Too bad they did not have to go in and put in stent(s). Don't take that wrong, glad all is OK.

They shave you near the family jewels. After the operation, they clamp you, and a small sand bag over the incision made in the artery, to the table.

Interesting watching the end of the probe wind its way to the heart.

No stents, all was clean and clear. Had me amazed too.  Removing the cath from my groin took a slow and uneasy 20 minutes by the Nurse. It's now a timed practice to prevent excessive arterial bleeding. Then a guaze/sticker marking the exact spot/covered in a celophane tape.

The whole area was covered in a lime green antibacterial solution... I asked my 8 Year old Son in the recovery room if he wanted to see Shreck.... once he seen the side of my right hip he declined quickly... :rofl

Did you happen to ask the medical team there to vote for you? How about at least explaining your platform to them??

Glad you were clean, that's not a procedure I want to undergo. So far so good now.

Wtg, Mac, interesting report.  You have a promising career as a medical reporter.  Kinda helps keep your mind off some of the needle procedures, right?
