It's not my glass... just a pic I grabbed online.

I haven't tasted it along side Shiner Bock. I like SB, but I rarely see it in California.

Er... I mean to say... I LOVE SB. ;)

Ya know, I never understood Shiner Bock. I tried to like it, I really did. But it just tasted like sour beer to me. Must be like buttermilk. Either you like it or it's nasty.

I will give the Sam Black a try. :)

:rofl He showed Sam Adams...

Strain that stuff through a hankerchief sometime.  :huh   Now imagine it in your veinous system clogging away.

Now I like a good lager, but Sam's is so thick you can scoop it with a spoon like molasses in March.

Shiner Bock has to be cold to the point of near freezing. If it's even slightly warm I can't stand it.

Looks good, but dark heavy beers in the summer put me down after 1 or 2.

I drank a mini keg of warsteiner on sunday though, good stuff.

Most folks put it in their mouth and drink it, not in an IV bottle and their veins.  Sounds like a real serious problem you have there.

Shiner Bock is pretty good, I favor dark beers over the light Pilsner style.

Sam Adams is a huge variety of beers. If you don't like one there are tons of others to try. I absolutely hated their bitter beer but some of their ales are pretty good.
